Two-piece construction lives or dies on how the top and skirt read as a single line, and the 1721H4513 solves that with a sleeveless halter neckline and matching floral appliques carried across both bodice and skirt. Shoulder cutouts break up what would otherwise be a solid halter frame, adding negative space at a point that most halter cuts leave untouched. The skirt opens into an A-line silhouette, giving the short length room to move rather than sitting flat against the body.

The open-back detail extends the appliqued pattern past the front view, so the design does not stop at the shoulders. In Black Orchid, the appliqués sit against a deep, low-reflectance ground that lets the floral detail read as texture rather than print. Suited to homecoming and formal wear in sizes 0 through 10.
