The Terani Couture 1911M9339 concentrates its most intricate work at the midriff. An off-shoulder collar transitions into a fitted bodice, and at the waist, embroidery and bead work mark the territory between bodice and skirt with a detail band that functions as the gown's visual center of gravity. The peplum side detail that extends from this band adds a layer of dimension at the hip, softening the mermaid silhouette's strict body-consciousness while giving the skirt's full bottom half room to move.
