Two colors meet at the bodice of the Terani Couture 232E1287, a structured petal shape built over a strapless sweetheart neckline that stays put through the natural waist. Princess seams carry the eye down into a mermaid skirt, shaping the hip and thigh before releasing into a sweep train at the floor.

A peplum sits at the waist, adding a small burst of volume right where the bodice meets the skirt, a detail that breaks up what would otherwise be a long, unbroken line. The back opens at the mid-back, echoing the two-tone contrast up front and giving the gown a second angle worth noticing.
