Terani Couture 232E1297 Mermaid Gown with Scoop Neck, Brocade Design

Brocade at a mermaid silhouette already carries structural weight. The 232E1297 adds a one-side ruffle collar at the shoulder that extends the fabric's surface energy upward, creating a single point of asymmetric volume above an otherwise fitted gown. The ruffle does not read as decorative so much as architectural, a logical extension of the one-shoulder positioning rather than something placed on top of it.
The scoop neckline keeps the front clean while the ruffle asserts itself at the side, giving the gown two distinct profiles depending on angle. Light Gold, Navy, and Silver each handle the brocade's texture differently at distance: Light Gold warms the surface, Navy grounds it, and Silver makes the woven pattern most visible as a graphic element.
