The 241GL2697 handles that with embellishment set into tulle across the bodice, concentrating detail on the side that carries the single strap and thinning out toward the trumpet flare below.

That flare gives the gown its formal proportion, fitted through the hip before releasing at the knee in a shape that holds structure without a heavily boned foundation.
