The 261E6670 places the applique across the area where the gown is closest to the body, which means the flowers sit flat rather than being distorted by volume or ease. Mikado provides the structure that keeps the trumpet flare clean at the hem, the fabric's authority transferring from the fitted bodice to the open skirt without losing its shape.
