Description

Tweed and chiffon in the same cocktail dress solve two different construction problems simultaneously. The 261C6519 uses the tweed's structure to hold the collared round neckline and the double-breasted pearl-inspired bodice in place, while the chiffon provides the movement in the flared skirt below that a single-fabric construction at this length would not achieve. Short sleeves add coverage at the shoulder without disrupting the day-to-evening range the collar and double-breasted bodice already establish.
The fit-and-flare silhouette transitions from the structured tweed bodice into the chiffon skirt at the waist, the two fabrics meeting at the point where the garment changes from stationary to moving. Ivory is the confirmed colorway, the pale shade making the pearl-inspired accents at the bodice most visible as a decorative layer. Short length, zipper and hook-and-eye closure.
